Question about Area at Disney

I was watching a Discovery HD show on Disney World. They mentioned a special members only club, that is hidden and excluded from public eye, however still avaible for the public to see.

I thought it was called somthing like Studio 54 or somthing "Club" like.


And there was somthing else. Supposedly theres a Window (I think I remember the show telling somthing about it also being near the Club) that is always lit with a candle to commerate Walt Disney himself. Saying that when Walt Disney was alive and well, whenever he was in the park this Candle would be lit. Now with him past, they keep the candle lit at all times to commerate him. Can anyone provide me more information on these two locations?

For instance photos, where to find them, information, history, etc?

I thought there was something at Disneyland, not WDW. I can't remember what it's called, not Studio 54 for sure, that was a notorious NY club, the haven for sex, drugs and rock n roll. Can't see Walt modelling a club after that! I've read an article recently, possibly on allearsnet, not sure.

I dont' think it was Disney land but I could be wrong. I don't think it was for that, it was a special members only club that the public could become a member of for a fee. It included fine dining and a hotel me thinks. A more adult part of disneyworld.

You're referring to Club 33. It's near PoC.

Thats the one, is that also where the candle in the window is lit?

Or is that located somewhere else. Supposdly , walt disney would stay at this location when he was in the park. And see above for more info about why the candle is lit.

I also watched that program on tv....It is Club 33 near PoC in Disneyland and the place where they always have the light on is also in Disneyland. It is above the firehouse on Main Street(where Walt Disney has his apartment). Walt would leave this light on to let CM knows he was in the park and after he died they kept the light on symbolizing that Walt is always there with them.

Yey! Thats it, my girlfriend is at disney world right now, high school grad night. Anywho short story is I told her about it, she thought it would be cool to see those while she was there.

Shes watching Fall Out Boy in Concert right now. Lmao. Just called her could barely hear her :-/.
