Question About APs & Halloween Party Tickets

Hi All - I am currently a DLR annual passholder (expires Aug. 6). Does anyone know if I can buy the Halloween party tickets early (on the AP purchase date of July 22) even though my AP will be expired by the time I use the tickets? If it matters, the party tickets on the night we want to go are the same price for AP and non-AP... so there's no discount; just a better chance of getting the night I want (Oct. 2 -- it's a friend's birthday). Thanks!

I would double check, but I believe your AP has to be valid at the time of purchase and on the day you use the tickets. As you point out, this is a moot point since the price is the same for both AP and non-AP tickets. I've never had a CM check my AP at when I used a party ticket, but I would want to be safe if they did ask to see my pass. This year, the advance purchase time is only a week before tickets go on sale to the general public, so as long as you buy your tickets as soon as they are released to the general public, you should be fine.

Tickets don't sell out that early. They do sell out and they may sell out earlier than other years buy I say you still are good a week after they go on sale to the general public.

Unless some wild fluke happens this year and there is an early surge in MHP ticket sales, they won't sell out before they go on sale to the general public. Last year's parties took a while to sell out (I have all of the sell out dates of last year's parties in the Halloween Time Superthead). I mean, I wouldn't wait much longer than 7/29 to get the tickets -- just in case -- but they should not sell out before 7/29.
