Question about AP rates

For anyone that has booked an annual passholder rate this year, is the discount only valid on weeknights? I was browsing the passholder website and for some resorts I was quoted a discounted rate for the weeknights and rack rate for the weekend. However, I was also given a few quotes where all nights were discounted. In addition, I found that on more than one occassion I was given different rates for the same hotel and same room category. Ex. Jan 22nd to 29th Yacht Club, standard room, weeknight rate 275, weekend rate 325. Then in alternate offers there would be Jan 22nd to 29th, Yacht Club, standard room. weeknight rate 275, weekend rate 300.

Well, I don't know about all the time, but we have an AP rate for our trip in Feb. and I was told the AP rate was just for Sun. - Thurs. nights...

I've done it. I was looking for a Saturday night (1/26) AP rate. At Pop I was offered $69 a night (this was for Friday or Saturday, and Sun-Thurs was $49). With the rack rate at $82, still a savings.

Then I checked on POFQ and was given a rate of $99 a night for any night the entire week. I booked the night of 1/26 (a Saturday) at the $99, then changed my mind a few weeks later and downgraded to Pop at $69 a night. Keep in mind that whenever I used the online site it would not show me discounted nights for the weekend, so I called and sure enough there were discounts on the weekend. The website obviously was having issues. However, I did check on the Florida resident website and it was correct and was showing discounts for the weekend. I now double check everything on the Florida resident website as their rates are usually the same as ours and is probably coming from the same pool of rooms.

You might want to double check your rate just to make sure as I got a discount on my weekend rate.

Thanks! I may have mislead. I don't know if our Sat. night is discounted, infact I know it's not full rack rate, it's just more than the week nights. The CM did tell me the discounted rate was just Thurs. - Sun. but I doubt what we are paying for the weekend night (419) is full rack rate...

I would call in, because I have gone through the AP site and was given rack for weekend, but then called in and was givne a discounted rate for the whole thing, maybe not the same on the weekend nights, but it was still discounted.

I was playing around with dates & rates on the AP site yesterday and noticed that exact thing. One offer has only the weekdays discounted, another offer has all of the days discounted (but the discount is higher on the weekdays) and it is the very same room and dates. The only thing I could think of is that it is 2 different codes. At the top of the offer it said "Passholder Weekday Rate" or something, then on the other one it said "Passholder January February Discount". The terminology on the 2 offers was different.
