Question about AP Dining Card

Hi Everyone,

Has anyone been able to receive the AP dining incentive when their check-in date falls before the designated week? We are booked at AKL from December 8-17. The dates for the dining card are December 9-15 - we miss it by only one day. It's not a huge deal, but if we could get the extra dining credit, my DH would be a happy man. Anyone have luck doing this?

Thanks!! We are pretty new to this - we have gone to Disney several times but never did much planning before now.

I just answered my own question. I called and spoke to a very helpful CM. She said that the only way to be able to get the AP dining card is to break our reservation into 2 separate reservations. The AP dining card incentive doesn't formally begin until December 9 so we would have to check in on December 8 (can't change our dates) and then check out and back in on December 9th. The only bad part (or good part - depending upon the view we get!) is that we are not guaranteed the same room.
