Question about an item getting shipped to Disney

Hi, are you able to order an item (a Lego set), and have it shipped directly to the resort? I want to bring it down as a gift. I've read where people do Amazon prime for groceries, but is this possible as well? Just change the shipping address to our resort? (Bay Lake). I guess it would be delivered to the Contemporary? Any thoughts much appreciated!

Yes, they can receive packages for you. At convention resorts (which the Contemporary is), there is a small charge to handle the package for you. I believe $6-$8?

I believe there is a package fee at all resorts now, not just the convention center resorts; maybe $6 as PP mentions. There is a thread on the Resorts forum with details about shipping labels - name, reservation number, arrival date, etc.

There are fees everywhere ($6 per package). YEARS ago (right after fees started) saw a family receiving a luggage cart full of boxes at a Value Resort (like 15 boxes) and they were losing their mind over the per package fee. I think the issue with Convention resorts is that they can ship for you as well.

Def can't blame Disney with the amount of stuff shipped there, and they are paying CMs just to handle it.

I had packages sent to the resort back in April, I didn't get charged for it. They held them at the desk. One was even brought to my room.

Recently had it done (March). Had a tiny package of makeup delivered from Amazon. 6 bucks for handling. I was at OKW.

Convention area, might have been at/near the business center? Been a couple years. I went to a locker and got it out. Would have been an Amazon package. I remember at the time being really surprised because I thought Bell Services handled all packages.

Same. I had a prime delivery in a box, not grocery. Maybe BS only accepts grocery orders. CM never mentioned a locker, only that I needed to be there by 5 pm. Thanks for sharing that info
