We will be going to Sea World soon (never been) and I purchased the all day dining bracelets for us. Is it really as simple as it sounds? I've seen the list of participating restaurants and also that baby back ribs aren't included. I read that it can be used up to 30 minutes before park closing. Anything else I should know? Any strategies for getting the most bang for our buck? What about between meal snacks, or just being thirsty?

Thanks!

Just got back and it was incredible! They let me wear my bracelet and my autistic sons bracelet also. We got there at opening and stayed till close. They were letting people eat up to the last minute.

You can get anything you want. We also got ribs- just not the baby back ones. There was an incredible variety. We got bottled water all day. We also did just snacks. Strawberries at one place - watermelon at another. You do not need to get the whole meal- you can pick and choose. The deserts are great- carrot cake , chocolate cake etc...

At one resturant I was just getting water and they just waved me through so I did not have to wait in line. They do not ring up your food- they just check your tray to see what you have so it is really speedy.

We are headed back in October and plan to do the meal deal again.

Can someone tell me what the food prices are like without the bracelet? I just wonder what kind of value the bracelet offers. Thanks!

Just got back and we did a running total of what it would have cost us out of pocket. It was just the three of us but husband and 12 year old son are hearty eaters!:)

Most of the meals and sandwiches are in the 7 or 8 dollar range. Some of the meals ran up to 12 dollars for us. You can find the menus at Seaworld.com.

The bottled water ran about 2.50 each.

We arrived at the park at opening and stayed till 6 P.M. It was a VERY hot day so we cooled off a lot in the resturants and drank a lot of water.

The meal deal for the three of us cost 90.00 dollars and we would have paid almost 300.00 out of pocket.:rotfl2: My son is a BIG eater....

Does anyone know if they take the bracelets back at the end of the day? Are the bracelets different colors from day to day?

We are going down in a couple of weeks and plan on purchasing the dining plan just for that day, cause we are only driving down for the day. But I was curious, what prevents someone who purchased the dining plan from returning the next day with the bracelet and using it again?

Does anyone know?

Yes the wristbands are color code for each day...they are only good for one day

Thanks!

I had figured that they must have a way to collect them at the end of the day or they were color coded.

We have always done the dining package with Disney and loved it. So, we were excited to see that Seaworld was offering a dining package as well. We are only going down for the day but cant wait to try out the dining package. All the other posts have been extremely positive and it seems that it is easy and very convienent to use.

They're also dated I believe. but not entirely sure, as I've never had one.

I have a topic titled "eating at sea world" it has most of the menus and prices as of the beginning of the year. But it'll give you a general feel for the prices of the entrees. The desserts without the wristband range in about 3-4$ for a single serve, and bottled water is some where around 2.50$. They also have a refillable mug for 7-9$, and it's only about a 1-1.50$ to refill. Don't ask me why some places charge more than others.

The cup is also good at all the "Worlds of Discovery" parks. So keep it, and if you ever visit again or visit another park, you can use it there.
