Question about AK rope drop--NOT Pandora

So there have been lots of threads about how RD goes for Pandora. We will be rope dropping AK one day, but NOT going to Pandora right away. I know they have been letting people in to Pandora earlier than actual opening time. So, does the rope drop to the other lands at the same time as it does for Pandora, or do they let Pandora people go off first, then wait a bit??

I'm pretty sure it's different. (At least it was back in August.)

When I was there, they did RD at 9:00 to the other AK lands.

We just got back yesterday, having one Pandora morning and one non-Pandora morning at AK. On our non-Pandora day, after they let people in the front, there was a rope on the bridge by Tiffin's for those going to Pandora. We walked towards Africa though, and there was an additional rope on this side of the bridge going into Africa. Morning's are still the best time for the Safari, and we saw the lions like we've never seen them before; just chilling on the rocks but staring VERY intently across the road towards the zebra paddock.......I can't speak to Asian or Dino-Land, but I assume it's the same as going into Africa.

With Pandora sucking in 90% of the morning crowd, the rest of the park is yours for the taking in the a.m.

Our experience in August was during a non EMH morning at AK, opening time was at 9am. We arrived AK entrance at 8:45am, went through security and went to Africa and had no real rope drop experience. It was very anticlimactic and very few people as one would imagine everyone veered left to Pandora. I cannot speak to an EMH morning day, that experience may be different.
