Question about ADRs

I know if you are staying on property you can do the 180 + 10 days for ADRs, and this allows you to make reservations for the entire length of your stay up to 10 days. What about if you don't have a ressie # for staying on property? Can you call @ the 180 day mark and make ADRs for the length of your stay or do you have to call on the 180 day mark for every individual day? (We will be staying on property, but won't be able to book the room until mid april and I want to make these ADRs at the beginning of March.)

Any experiences/advice?

I did that last year. We were going for free dining in September, and knowing that the ADR's would be filling in, I called a few days before our actual package reservations, and I just said where we will be staying, but I had no reservation confirmation#. I had no problems. Good luck.

When I called to make my ADR's, the CM said she had to have the ressie number, otherwise she couldn't do the plus 10, just 180 days out. I did have one, but they may be cracking down.

Although I understand the 180 + 10 concept, if you have reservations for a 12-night package, does that mean you need to call twice? Once for the first 10 days of lodging, and then 180 days again before the last two nights of your stay? :confused3

Mea culpa if this is a stupid question.

If you are staying offsite, you cannot do the 180+10. You can only do the 180 days. So yes, you would have to call back each day of the length of your stay to get what you want. Or wait until 170 days out and then call for everything. Remember that dining reservations are in no way connected to a resort reservation UNLESS you are calling 190 days out. Then you do need the reservation number.

Iuki - it's not a stupid question. I'd call at the 190 days mark and see what you can do. I think the problem will be that the last two days of your stay will not be in the reservation system yet. So you probably will have to call again. Or - wait two days and make one phone call.

Thank You! This is exactly what I needed to know. :goodvibes

We will be staying at the Caribbean Beach Resort from 09/10-9/22/08. Therefore, if I called on 03/14/08, would I be able to make ADRs for all 12 nights; or would I have to call again 03/16/08 to make ADRs for the last two nights?

Am I confusing myself?:confused3

Thank you for your patience.

Last I spoke with a CM, they can only do 180 + 10, so you'll have to call back for your last 2 days.
