I would like to start making some ADRs for my trip in May. My in-laws are supposed to go with us but are not sure if they can get off of work. Can I make ADRs for all of us and if they don't go can I just change the amount of people on our ADR? Can I just show up at the restaurant an say there are only 4 instead of 6? Or do I have to cancel and reschedule a new ADR? I don't want to be stuck without an ADR because they couldn't make it. Any help would be greatly appriecated.

Make the ADR for 6. If they decide not to come, call Disney Dining and ask for the same time at the same place for 4. If they have an opening, take it and then cancel your ADR for 6. If not, keep the ADR for 6 and when you get to the restaurant, tell them that 2 couldn't make it. It is easier to show up with less people than it is to show up with more.

Thank you. I was hoping it was ok to show up with less people. I just didn't know if they would have a problem with it.

This happened to us on the last trip. We had 12 and maybe 13. I booked for 13, when we showed up with 12 they still seated us.
