Question about adding free dining to a trip already paid for?

Hello Everyone!

Our trip in November is already paid for! YAY! But I just saw the free dining. At first I didn't think it would matter because we have deluxe dining plan but then someone told me we could pay the difference.

So I went and played with the trip planner on the Disney website and they did let me select the deluxe dining plan and just pay the difference. It would save us $600!

Does anyone know if I can call and have them apply that to my current reservation? I know I have seen that you can apply codes to your reservation but can you apply the free dining if you have already paid in full?

You can call them and ask, but keep in mind that there are only a certain number of rooms in each resort that get the discount. So if your choice is booked up you'll either have to forgo the free dining or possibly switch resorts. You may not have to, but it's worth calling to check on!

As long as there is availability at your resort, they will apply the discount and give you a refund. You just need to call. I did it last year.

Thank you both! I called this morning and they were able to make the change. I save $623.82! They were very helpful. So excited!!! I just wish I could talk my husband into using that money to add an extra day onto our stay.
