I recieved a post card (Well, actually, the post card came addressed to my two year old daughter!) with an offer that was $49.00 a night at a value resort, and $79.00 a night for moderates. The offer is for tis fall. There is a little number highlighted in yellow that you need to use to get that rate.
My question is that we are not planning a trip to Disney this fall, and even with the great deal, we will have to pass on the offer. One of my friends, however, *IS* planning a trip to Disney in the fall and I was thinking I could offer her the postcard if they were allowed to use it.
Does anyone have any experience with this sort of thing? Is it something that my friend can use or is it only for my family to use?

They will honor it for your family if you should decide to go. I've gotten a few postcard offers in the past and they were all addressed to my DS. When I called about it, the CM laughed and said that the family could use it. (I'd had visions of DS trying to peer over the registration counter in order to sign us in).
