I was wondering what restaurants you can make a 180 day ADR for and which onces u can only make a 90 day at

thanks

180 = CRT and chef mickeys I believe.
All others 90 days

So you just booked a reservation for CRT in October???

Man, I give up then. Everything I think is true is false! :rotfl:

Yep! We have to spend the remainder of our DEV points before they expire so we're taking a quick 3 day trip in Oct before our big TG trip. So we booked a CRT Dinner.

What the heck? I was so excited when I saw this. I called to book CRT for Sept 27th and was told it was too soon and that it could only be booked at 90 days out. I told him about you booking it and he basically called me a liar and said it couldn't be done. He finally said that if a CM had done it, then it was a mistake.:confused3 He did say that Chef Mickey's and CRT were two of the reservations that at one time earlier in the spring were being booked 180 days in advance, back when they were redoing the reservation system. After a certain date last month even they went back to 90 days.:confused3

HotRod makes a note of everything when she makes ressies. I'm pretty sure she even jotted the CM's name. I'll try to grab some info when she gets home for you.

tell that to the CM who just booked our CRT ressie! lol

Wow I find that really hard to believe, unless it was a glitch in the system. It shouldn't allow you to book if you're not at 90 days. Do you book through the Disney Dining Line? The restaurants don't even have their availbility set up for October. I would check back if I were you to make sure you really have a reservation. The CM that did this did a HUGE no no if it did go through.

All ADR's are 90 days. The only thing you can book 180 through Disney Dining is Cirque.

Oct 24th 8:45 PM CRT have confirmation number.

lol, my latest Mickey Mail I got had 180 days for reservations on a brochure, think if I faxed them their brochure I'd be able to make my ressies?

:lmao:

Hummmm, probably not as I am sure there is some kind of “fine print” that says things can change, bla…bla…bla…A CYA clause, good thought tho!!!

Just out of curiousity, does the confirmation # begin with a 5 or a 3? It may have been made in the old system and it may not be valid. I would just hate for you to show up and they not find your res due to agent error. That way when you are at 90 days you can make another reservation. If it's in the new system, then it's a glitch in the system and I stand corrected. I would check at 90 days to make sure your reservation is still there.

We just got mail from Disney YESTERDAY that says we can make our reservations 180 days out. Why wouldn't they send out accurate information? It just came yesterday! :confused3

I'm at work right now and HotRod had a Dr. appt. this morning, when she gets back i'll get that number for you. We will for sure be calling back now just to be sure. I'll also get the CM's name. I'm pretty sure she jotted it down she likes to send thank yous and kudos, so she normally gets that info. Now, I DOUBT this had anything to do with it, but we booked our trip using DVC dev points. And HotRod mentioned the CRT ressie thing to the CM, and he checked and booked it for us.

I'm not really sure why they are still sending out those old brochures. I personally have advised them of this because we have been getting many calls in regards to the confusion and rightfully so. I can only assume that these were printed up before the policy change, and yep Markin you are correct in saying fine print will say policies are subject to change w/o notice.

:sad2:

Since you didn't do it through the dining line, there is a possibility that the CM at DVC is able to do that. I really don't know. I could only tell you there would be no way you could have done that through the dining line, which looks like that's the case.

I would double check back with DVC just to make sure.

Ok wife just called from home.. the # is a 3 and the CM's name was Stan I shouldv'e remembered this because i started singing "oh yeah he's my man Stanley, welcome to stanley's woooorld!" While he and the wife were attempting to conduct business...

To the PP with the CRT ADR for October - are you a Grand Gathering?

Because it's not just Cirque still accepting 180 day reservations, it's Cirque AND Grand Gatherings activities.

If it's not that, I would be highly concerned that you don't have a valid ADR - it's 90 days for everything else since ~mid March when CRT, Chef Mickey's & Victoria & Albert's were folded into the 90 days out window.
