Question about 11 and 7 month window

We are gearing up to make 11 month reservations at HHI at the end of this month and then 7 month reservations at WDW (hopefully AKV) in early August. It is unclear to me when exactly the window will open for us and figured there would be some folks here who would know.

For example, the first day of our hoped for HHI stay is Sunday, June 21st 2009. Does the 11 month window begin on Sunday July 20th, or does it begin on Monday, July 21st? I dont know if the one day difference will matter, but with HHI being such a small resort, I don't want to take a chance.

My understanding is as follows:

The old procedure was you could rent exactly 11 months before the day you were going to check out. Thus many people would call every day and add a day at a time, 11 months out.

Now, you can reserve a stay of week or less, calling exactly 11 months before the day of check-in.

How this precisely works with 28/29/30/31-day months has never been explained to me.

You should call Member Services a few days ahead and ask them what the applicable date is for your plans.

You can book 11 months prior to check in now so you can call on July 21st.

It has no impact. Its not the number of days before your stay, its the number of months.
