Kind of an odd one. My DM and I are coming to WDW in October. We will need separate rooms or similar accomodations. I was thinking a 1 br villa. Can someone tell me generally how the air conditioning and ventilation works? Is it central, meaning vents throughout the unit? What I am trying to avoid is what happens in some suites where the output is in the master bedroom and if you close that door, the person sleeping on the living room pull-out gets no air. Thanks.

Think of 1 bedroom units like mini apartment. There will be duct vents in both the living room and the bedroom as well as the bathroom.

Great, thanks! That makes sense. I just wanted to be sure from a past bad experience in a suite :scared:. Thanks!!!!

I'm not certain if this is true for all 1 BR's but at AKV there were separate thermostats in the master and the living area so each could be adjusted as needed. It helped us out a lot traveling with my DM who likes things warmer.
