Question 2bdrm @ SSR

We are requested a 2 bedroom lock off in September for the first time at SSR, bringing to extra adults for the second bedroom. What is the difference between the lock off and dedicated for ammenities, does the dedicated have a kitchenette or balcony?

The 2nd bed rm is a studio so you do have a balcony and a kitchenette.You also have a queen size bed and pullout sofa.

The second bedroom of a dedicated two bedroom will not have a kitchenette. It may or may not have a balcony/patio. It will not have a second exit out of the villa.

It might depend on who is going to stay in the second bedroom. If you were putting your younger kids in the second bedroom, you definitely wouldn't want another exit for them to mess with at night. And they don't need the kitchenette.

But, if you were taking another couple or a group of adults along, they might appreciate having their own little kitchen and their own exit to come and go as they please.

We prefer the dedicated 2Br because it has two double beds in the 2nd room as opposed to one with a pullout couch.

One thermostat for entire unit

One telephone line (rings all phones)

Lockoff:
Queen bed plus sofabed in second bedroom

Two thermostats (one for second bedroom, other for the rest of the unit)
Two balconies (one off of the living room and the other off of the 2nd bedroom)
