Question - 1st time home

Hello everyone -

I am planning my 1st trip home for next Oct (2BR at AKV, Savannah View - F&W festival)!!!

The trip is for 8 days...my concern is for my brother - he will be joining my family for only 3 days of the trip. (he's a teacher and would come for the weekend)

Since he is not staying the entire time that we are -
1. Do I put his name on the room as well?
2. Will that impact any DDP plans? (can he get DDP for his length of stay?)

Additionally, I would want him to be able to take part of EMH with the rest of us...

Everyone in the room has to take DDP for the entire length of the reservation. His name does need to be on the ressie for him to do EMH.

Have you carefully considered whether you really want the DDP during the Food & Wine Fest? While you can use CS credits at the food booths, your TS credits would need to be used elsewhere. Frankly when we do F&W, sit down meals after grazing all day would be a real waste.

We are considering DDP - b/c there will be 5-6 days that we aren't in Epcot. And, we are going to use 2 TS for Hoop De Do (I think)

Anyway - getting back to my brother.

Assuming we don't put his name on the ressie -
How can he take advantage of EMH? Can we get him a room key anyway?
And - if his name isn't on the ressie, then we don't have to make DDP plans for him, right?

He cannot get a room key unless you put the DDP on it. You'd need to put the DDP on it for the entire length of stay. He cannot get EMH without a room key. Your choices are to buy the DDP for everyone for the length of stay and do EMH, buy the DDP for only your party and your brother cannot do EMH or do EMH for everyone, but not have the DDP.

Perhaps you could use the extra dining credits to go to a signature restaurant? It might work out for you.
