Hey, looking to plan a WDW trip next year for spring break. We'll probably stay at Shades Of Green with military friends of ours. It says that they would have to "accompany" us to purchase tickets. Does anyone know what that means? Does that mean we can purchase and use military discounted tickets? Or is there a discounted rate for guests that's not as nice as military?
Generally, how much do the passes run?
Thanks!!!

Passes are available at a discount. Eligible patrons can purchase them for you. The rule of thumb is that they should be there for at least a portion of your trip. At least that's what they've told me (I'm eligible and I bought my Moms')

Here's the ticket prices. You'll have to click the disney world tab at the bottom.

I am an eligible "dependent" and I have bought tickets for my mom, friend and goddaughter. No problems. I was there and showed my id and they were able to use their cc or cash to buy them st the discounted rate.

Your friends would have to show military ID to purchase the passes. I bought APs for a co-worker without any problems through our ITT office.

Your friends would need to be there to show ID when the tickets are purchased. They are also supposed to be with you at the gate to the parks. That's only an issue if the gate attendant asks to see a military ID, but they can deny you entry if you're not accompanied by a military member. I have no idea how often that actually happens.
