Ques about Prince/Princess Add-on

I asked this on the Theme Park Attractions and Strategies board, but had no replies. I was just wondering if anyone has any experience with this add-on, specifically the preferred seating at shows at AK and MGM. We will be going in 2 weeks and I was curious how this feature worked. We will be staying at CSR for the first time, can't wait!

I looked into this for my kids, but just didn't feel it was cost effective. Seems pricey for what you get. That's just me though.

I know WHAT it is and I know how much it costs. I just was curious if anyone had any experience with it and could tell me how the preferred seating works.

I think the lack of response is because this add on is really new, so not many of us have had a chance to try it. I also wonder how the special seating at the shows works, we are traveling with another group for part of our stay so I figured we would want to see the shoes together- thus the P&P add on didn't work for us.
I do have another question, is this a daily add on (like the silver where the price is per day for length of stay) or a one time deal?

It's a one time deal. The add-on was $167 for our package which includes $50 in Disney dollars each for my son and daughter, plus one character breakfast for all 4 of us, and the preferred seating. If you add up the cost of the disney dollars and character breakfast, we come pretty close to breaking even for $167, except for the preferred seating which is an unknown, but I figured could be well worth it since we're going during prime spring break time.

I guess we'll see! I'll let everyone know how it goes when we get back from our trip!

Wasn't there a thread here on these boards a few weeks ago about someone using this plan?

They had called Disney to arrange for the preferred seatings and most of the times were booked up.

$167 doesn't sound too bad for the Disney Dollars and breakfast.
