Hello

Just wondered if anyone (mainland britain) had booked and paid using the Irish Disney website? I've just put my dates in and its £100 less on Irish website than UK. How do you pay from sterling to euro? do you just pay as normal? was there any extra charges added on?

I could put the £100 towards the Eurostar cost.

Thanks in advance :)

Well I'm in Ireland and booked through the UK page before, you just enter your credit card details as usual and they do the currency conversion for your bill.
Are you sure it's cheaper in pounds and not euros? Well I guess even if it's cheaper by 100 euros cheaper is cheaper, yeah?:thumbsup2

There are no extra charges that I'm aware of.

oh thanks, that sounds easy.

I converted euros to pounds, is that right? now you've got me thinking! :rotfl:

thanks

You can book through which ever site you like, some people book on the Irish one, some people find it cheaper on the French site etc etc

It definitely pays to look at them all ;)

Your bank will convert from € into £ at their own rate and you could have a % charge which varies from bank to bank. It will be listed on their site normally :)

I would call your bank and double check with them if there are going to be any extra hidden charges just to make sure your geting a good deal. Depending on your UK bank acount you may be charged a higher exchange rate and also a fee. So it's advised to check with them first.

My mum has an account with Barclays and she got stung wih loads of changes when she went to Ireland on holiday a few years ago and purchased things in Euros but I have a Halifax acount and never got any additonal charges at all.

Thankyou all for your responses, I will check with Natwest.

I checked on the Irish and French site but the price was the same for my dates next March, after conversion the uk site was £100 more.

The saving could pay for a couple of meals out or go towards the Eurostar tickets.

So excited, going to DLP next Sunday for 6 days :cool1:

I always have to convert. Pounds is always more than euro, so I'd rather book in euros or get a very good deal in UK. Second time in a row Irish site works the best.
