Query about Walt's restaurant

Another big thumbs up for the helpful folks on the board!!

I checked with the concierge services at the Newport and they booked a reservation for us at 6 pm (closing time for the park) at Walt's!

I couldn't be more pleased! We get to enjoy this lovely restaurant, not take any of our park time out of our day, and then...get to see the castle and Main Street in near emptiness in our last moments at DLP as we leave. Sigh. It sounds so wonderful already.

If they've changed the adults do they still have the gourmet burger and twister potatoes?

Reservations can be made up to 60 days before hand

Well we booked on the first night we arrived which was Wednesday and made the reservation for the Friday at 9.00pm which just happend to be Friday 13th lol

We had to wait for our table to be set up before going into Walts but when we went upthere, there was no one in the Main Street section until a bit later.

Just wondering how you knew it was the Main Street section? I think we were seated there when went, but I'm not certain!

Hi Bexx,

We knew it was a Main Street room because it overlooked Main Street USA, we didn't ask for a specific room we just got shown to one.

Our window was right opposite the Cable Car Bake Shop, I have photos of the view that I will post sometime.

We were oppposite Harringtons. It was a small room overlooking Main Street, with about 5 tables, which didn't seem to be themed to any of the five lands, so I assumed it must be the Main Street room - if there is such a thing!

Well we ate there on a Monday, but a lot of people say it is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays so wonder if it varies depending on how bust they expect the Park to be?

Hmmm..... I really, really hope I can eat at Walts the next time I go!! Even if I have to buy a park ticket just to go I will!!

Me too, Walt's and Inventions and I'll be happy that I've eaten at all the restaurants on my list. Then I might have to make a new list.
