I'm really excited about staying here in March, it was the first hotel we stayed at I'm looking forward to going back.
Loving the new design on the soap and body wash. :)

Can someone tell me about the Cheyenne breakfast
is there a toaster ?
is the fruit salad fresh or tinned ?
do they have different varieties of yoghurt or just natural ?

Thanks. :)

I don't remember seeing a toaster on my last visit in June
The fruit salad was tinned
The yoghurt was natural

Hope this helps.

I don't think there was a toaster,
the fruit was tinned
the yogurt was white and - if my mind is not faulty - was in a big bowl with a giant spoon to get it.

we were there last month and yes, the Cheyenne had toasters ... they had them situated at the back opposite the area where you collect knives and forks, etc and they also had a couple quite close to the section where you obtain your drinks. The fruit was tinned and not very nice and I don't remember what the yoghurt was.

No toaster, tinned fruit salad - yeuch and I definately wouldn't touch the yoghurt if it's in a help yourself bowl, you've confirmed what someone else told me I was hoping they were wrong. Thanks for the info everyone at least I know what to expect.:)

There definitely is a toaster there, as Tillybud said. It's about the last thing you come to when you're walking through. The bread is pretty rubbish though, it just falls apart. I must say I thought the fruit was ok though, despite being tinned. Didn't eat any yoghurt but there is plenty of cheese around - in fact that's all DS would eat every day, about 8 chunks of cheese! I really enjoyed breakfast there - croissants, pain au chocolat, ham, cheese, orange juice - delish!

I admit I'm a bit sceptical about brekki at the Cheyenne but as long as there's toast I'm happy.

Oh dear that doesn't sound too good...don't they do yogurt in pots? How about cereal?
I think we'll stick to the croissants and pain au choc!

we have just returned from this hotel

there is toasters , as people have stated , right at the back near the cultery

cereal are in big containers and you twist the wheel to get it out

there were plently of cereals , crossiants , hams and cheeses , bread rolls etc

We've stayed at the Cheyenne 7 times and never seen a toaster - you learn something new every day! I shall look forward to toast when we next go!

When we were at the Cheyenne last month we saw the toaster but didn't use it as there was only very dark rye bread for toasting.
I would recommend trying for the GMF breakfast for as many days as you can get. The quality of the food is noticeably better - fresh fruit, yoghurt and fromage frais in pots, nutella in little pots more cereals etc. We only managed to do one GMF breakfast although they were available every day. Because my DS is diabetic and has to eat and inject at particular times, the available slots were generally too late. If you don't mind eating a bit after the breakfast rush though you shopuld be ok.:thumbsup2

Hi, we're just back yesterday from the Cheyenne. There are toasters, one or two in the main 'food' area and at least another 2 in the main eating area (between chuckwagon and dance hall). We didn't use the one in the 'food' area due to there being a queue, but it seems that very few people noticed the other 2 so we used them. There was white bread to toast which was fine. Plenty of cereal...although it took me a while to find the milk (which is in a machine by the tea/coffee juice etc).

edit - GMF is Good Morning Fantasyland, breakfast in the park. Unfortunately they were not available whilst we were there. Not sure if that's because they were not happening or they were booked out.

Sorry Tillybud I obviously missed your post confirming toasters are available :)

The GMF breakfast is supposed to be of the same standard as the SL, so if you can get them at the Cheyenne, I suppose you can think of it as an upgrade. I'm torn between keeping my booking as is or swapping to SL, I have to pay the balance on the 4th Jan, so it will prob. be dependent on how much ( if anything) I have left over from Christmas.
Despite everything else I've said about SL, it's the breakfast and hotel bar that's luring me back. :rotfl:

Oh look what is this? Is it a bird? Is it a plane? Is it Superman? No it is a toaster at the Hotel Cheyenne. :lmao:
