Quebec Winter Carnival

I'm taking my 4 year old to the winter carnival in Quebec City at the end of January. We're taking the train from Windsor and staying at the Chateau Frontenac. We've never been and just wondered if anybody had any suggestions for things to do while we are there.

Another teacher and I took 50 11yrolds last year. Best advice-DRESS WARM!!!
The grounds in Old Quebec are beautiful to see with all of the sculptures and the parade was great!
