Quarantined for head cold?

Although the OP would have left by now the biggest concern would probably actually be the flight... flights with a stuffed up nose are awful and if you can't get her to the point she can breath through her nose the flight will be extremely painful.

Realized you already left. Hope you have a good flight! Right before my most recent cruise, I was feeling the same way. Orlando does really make people feel better. If you have OTC Medicine that makes her feel better bring it along. There are tissues in all staterooms and unlike some resorts at WDW it's not a hike back to your room, so if she needs a rest in the middle of the day she can. Oh, and get a good night sleep.

Update! We arrived in Orlando yesterday and DD is 100% better. I guess the Magic and warm air really do help!

yes - completely stuffed up, ears clogged, etc.

I hope your daughter is ok. I flew one time with 'just a cold.' I ended up with a bad sinus and ear infection and a busted ear drum. I had an ear a few weeks before my last cruise. I finished my course of antibiotics. 2 days before my flight my ear was bothering me again. We were experiencing crazy changes in weather and my allergies are worse in the Fall. I went in to be checked out and got a steroid shot for the swelling.

Glad she's feeling better. A similar thing happened with my DD before one of our cruises. The day before we flew to Orlando she was very stuffy and I thought she was getting a cold. But once we were in Orlando, the symptoms disappeared so it must have been her allergies, or Disney magic.
