Quality of the train sold during Christmas as the parks?

Every time I go I see that train that they display under the Christmas tree. I never can make myself shell out the money for it but since I STILL want it, have any of you bought it?

I want to know if it's a good quality train that doesn't last a few weeks and die like all the ones I've previously owned. I want it to last year after year.
