Quality Inn Plaza International Drive - anyone stayed here?

I'm looking for a place to stay for one night before checking into our Disney resort. All we need is clean, safe, comfortable accommodations - I can get a room here for a good price but would like to hear comments from anyone that has stayed here before I book. Thanks for any feedback you can give me!

We stayed here last year, it was very nice and clean, it had a refrigerator,coffee pot, iron and ironing board, and microwave.

I am sorry I do not have any recent information on this....

BUT>> it brings back a memory!
My then Boyfriend and I "Escaped" for week in WDW in early 1990. We could not really afford to stay at a nicer resort.... so we stayed at the Quality Inn Plaza.
I think the entire week - Hotel, Food, Tickets, Airplane cost $1500.00.
It was a "Big Deal" that we were going away - we had to make sure the hotel had two beds!

Back then, it was a great place. I am sure it will be just fine for you.. for one night.

Almost 17 Years later.. the Dear Boyfriend and I have been back to Disney 7 times - the latest Labor Day weekend.. celebrating my 40th Bday and our 14th Wedding anniversary!

I've stayed in the quality inn international and i think they're pretty much the same. nice, basic, clean hotel with plenty of shops and restaurants around-just what you're looking for i'd say!
