Quality Inn Maingate West????

My daughter's softball team is playing a tournament at Disney Wide World of Sports in June. The coach has booked Quality Inn Maingate West for a really good rate for this tournament. I looked at the hotel on-line and it looks like an older Quality Inn (not as nice as the Maingate East)

Anyone stayed there recently or have info on it?

We stayed there about five years ago. It was in need of repair then, and I believe they have not remodeled it yet. It was fine for a place to sleep, beyond that I wouldn't have my hopes too high!

We also stayed there for one night, 5 years ago. It was a bit shoddy then. The room was well worn and there were ants everywhere in the room. I just had a skeezy feeling the entire time we were in the room.

OK now I am really worried about this place. I didn't feel good about it looking at the hotel on the internet and I know there are tons of inexpensive hotels in this area. I think we need to look for a new one.

DO not stay there! We stayed there for 4 nights in October 2000 and it was horrible! Dirty, smelly, in need of major repairs. Worst service ever and we never felt safe.

All we wanted was a clean cheap place to stay for 4 days, so our expectations were not very high and I would NEVER stay there again!

Just a fair warning.
