QSFB question

Where would everyone say is the best place to work for QSFB

Somewhere air conditioned. Cosmic Ray's is a location that has a lot of CPs. ODF (Outdoor foods) would be one I would not be interested in. They're the popcorn/pop/ice cream carts. You're usually the only one there (bathroom breaks would be difficult), and I'm pretty sure they have to push back their own carts at night and those things are heavy! And you don't have much shelter from the weather elements.

My biggest fear with going into QSFB is the nasty guests. I need to learn to not take things so personally before I go!

I'm trying to remember too that for every nasty guest, there is one that is thrilled to be at DL right behind them.

That can be hard, but you'll learn in your training to remember that they're not mad at you because they don't even know you!

It's also exciting to think that for some of the guests it might be their first time at your QS operation and from then on they'll come back everytime they visit that park or hotel. Or, maybe going to Cosmic Rays for lunch was something they had waited five years since their last visit to MK to do.

Good luck!

And you will definitely come across plenty of them. And like you said, you just need to not take it personally because they're just idiots. I had a man once scream his head off (and was actually just embarrassing himself in public) because we ran out of ketchup and he didn't want to walk the 10 feet to the next stand to get some. It just gives you some fun stories to laugh about with your coworkers later.

Thanks for the advice guys :)

Thankfully my first ever job was at Blockbuster, so I've had my share of nasty customers before. I cried off the first few and then it slowly started to not bug me as much as it did before.

I'm thinking too that it'll be such a busy job that I won't have time to be upset about those people. And I like the point you brought up, they don't even know you! So no need to take any offense.

ok I have a couple more questions. I was in WDW for the last 2 days and i noticed a few QSFB locations the Cast members isnt have the WDC Name Tag ( Earl of Sandwhidh, McDonalds, Wolf Gang Puck Express, etc...) are those places out sorced or is that part of the WDW QSFB Cast Member Pool? Also I didnt get to go to the parks so i didnt see very many Costumes and i was wondering if people have photos of QSFB costumes if they could post them:) i have searched the boards and i mostly see attractions and merch. I think iwant to do cosmic rays, but im not entirely sure.... i will be dissiappointed if i get somewhere horrible... :(

A lot of places at DTD are third-company parties (so they aren't officially Disney).

I worked at Casey's Corner. Here is a picture of my costume (I got it off Google, so it's not me):
