I read on a previous post (months ago) that you can exchange the dessert for an extra side. We have a 2yo and we'd like to get the extra sides for her and her siblings so we can split all the food between them. Has anyone done this recently?

According to reports you MIGHT be allowed to exchange the dessert for a side (not an "extra" side as you don't get sides with CS unless it's a combo meal or the side comes with the entree). Not sure you should count on being able to do the trade at any given place.
