Am I right in thinking credits are simply credits,and cm is unaware whether they're for an adult or child?

All guests 3-9 are supposed to order from the children's menu where available. Your KTTW card will list the number of adults and children on the plan. You cannot order more adult meals than number of adults listed on the card unless there is no children's menu at that location.
