QS to DDP upgrade deadline?

When is the deadline to upgrade from free QS (Value stay) to the standard DDP? Does the decision have to be made upon booking, prior to 45 days, or within x-days of arrival?

If you want to make changes to a package, you have until 72 hours prior to arrival to do it.

Within 45 days of arrival, there is a change fee of $50 assessed, but it is usually waived for upgrades.

Within 2 weeks of arrival, you may be charged $10-$15 to make any changes at all to your package.
