We have an upcoming stay at BWV and I am concerned about the lack of QS options near the resort and I am considering changing my resort. We are not currently comfortable eating inside restaurants. Pre-COVID we would have park hopped into EP but that isn’t an option. Any advice?

Have you checked, the Swalphin to see what both resort have opened, Yacht and Beach club... you could check out there CS options... Not sure if ESPN is open. Maybe you could get to go... and eat in your DVC...

We stayed at the Yacht Club the last week of October. On our arrival day, we were looking for a place to sit down and be served. Most of those were closed or we hadn't made a reservation, because we didn't know what time we going to arrive. Anyhow, this is what I know was open for quick serve: Beach Club Marketplace, Hurricane Hanna's, Boardwalk Bakery, Pizza Window and the Yacht Club Marketplace.

Just back from the BWV last week. I’m afraid there’s not much open. Since you’re staying in a villa, I suggest getting a grocery order delivered. There’s a lot that you can do in the room even if all you have is a studio with a toaster, microwave and coffeemaker. It’s just a matter of careful planning.

There’s also the Screen Door store, located on the boardwalk. You can get a limited supply of groceries there (bread, milk, yogurt, fresh fruit, cereal, snacks plus some microwaveable meals).

You can use mobile ordering from the MDE app for the pizza window, Boardwalk Bakery, or BC Marketplace. You can also take the Skyliner from Epcot’s International Gateway over to Riviera (no need to enter the park). Primo Piatto at Riviera also has mobile ordering. The Ale & Compass at the YC offers a “To Go” menu from their table service. You can order via mobile ordering on the app.

You can find food at the Swan, which is an easy walk from the BWV. Java Bar is open for breakfast until 11 AM. Garden Grove serves breakfast until 11:30 and then lunch until 2 PM.

There is just a general lack of food options at WDW right now. All of the resorts are pretty much the same with just limited quick service available. Unless you stay at Saratoga Springs to walk over to Disney Springs, you will be in the same boat at another resort. BWV has the benefit of having 4 other hotels within walking distance to where you can check out their quick service options.

The Java Bar at the Swan and Fuel at the Dolphin are both open and pretty much carry the same things. Fuel might be a little bigger, so it might have a few more options. Picabu (dolphin) wasn't open yet when I was there a couple of weeks ago. Not sure when that is scheduled to re-open. That is one of my go-to places when I'm staying at the BWV.

Another option to keep in mind is that there is a Speedway just at the end of the BW parking lot that you can easily walk to. That's a great place to go for snacks and beverages.

You can always do any of the outside delivery services: Uber Eats, Door Dash, Grub Hub, etc. You will need to meet your driver out front but it opens up so many more food options.
