QS meal credit turned into snack credits?

Now that Disney Dining plan has started again, has anyone tried to change one QS meal to 3 snack credits?

It's been reported that sadly, it's a no go.

I am bummed about no more 3 snacks for 1 QS! That was the best at the food & wine festival booths

Yet another *little* thing that was enjoyed by WDW guests that has been ripped away by whatever Disney Scrooge exists in the system.

I have also seen that any credit converting is no longer allowed.

Well first DFB reported that this rule is a yes, but then in the same paragraph said they were at L'Artisan des Glaces and were told that 3 snack selections there can be combined to count as a quick service. Typical Disney, clear as mud!

Disney's website says the dining plan is not accepted there? So......

It's accepted there. You just can't convert the 1 QS into 3 snack credits (as you can't do that anywhere anymore).
