QS Dining Plan - how to know what to choose?

Hi all

So glad that I have theese boards! I don't know if I could plan a WDW trip without all your help! So thanks!! I really appreciate it!

Anyways... I'm getting confused about the QSDP. I've found some great lists on all-ears, where I can see wich QS locations that is allowed on the DP - but! I'm confused about, what I can choose from on the list!

For example: - http://allears.net/menu/men_cas.htm - this link shows the menu on Caseys Corner in MK. I thought that I could go to a QS resturant, and then choose eg. nuggets, a coke and a cookie. But on this (and many other links) there are those Disney Dining Plan logos. Does that mean that I can only choose from those items? And can I go to Friar's Nook and choose a hot dog and a coke or? Please help me out!

Thanks a lot! super!!... Hadn't thought about that! So just to check if I understand it - I'm a little slow

-- I can go to a counter service and then eg. choose a hot dog, nuggets or a sandwich, which might include french fries, and then I'll also get a drink and dessert? - this I can do two times a day. And then the one snack a day, will be one of the items with the logo?

Almost. You'll get 2 meal credits and 1 snack credit per person based on how many NIGHTS you stay. The credits will all be pooled. If you choose to use 2 meals and 1 snack a day you can do that until you run out of credits.

Yes, you will order meals the way you have described.

There are hundreds of snacks you can spend your snack credits on. Here's a list of DP snack credit items, updated 06/2012. Pick some interesting items. You'll notice that the retail price is listed. If the item you wish to try doesn't cost much, it's better to buy it out-of-pocket. Save your credits for the more expensive things. At the end of your trip, if you have some credits left, visit your food court and buy stuff you can pack to take home with you.

Our experience is that At the CS locations the people working there will also tell you what is included...just tell them before you order that you are on QSDP and they can answer any questions...we had absolutely no problems..

If you are unsure, ask. Tell the CM that you are on the plan and ask away.
