QS dining plan--have to use 2QS/1snack per day or lose them?

I have a friend going to WDW in a few weeks using the Quick Service Dining Plan. I've never used the DP so I can't answer her question, but I know someone on the DIS can!

Do the credits have to be used up each day or lose them? Or can they use 3 meals in one day, then only have one left for another day? Same with snacks....Can more then one credit be used in a day and then when they are used up, that's it?

She was thinking they have to use the 2 meals and 1 snack/day and they can't be "banked" or used early.

The credits are indeed pooled for the entire trip. When she checks in, she'll have all her QS and all her snacks available to use immediately. She may use them in any order and at any amount per day until they are either gone, or the clock strikes midnight after her check-out date. The only limitation is the number of meal credits she may use in one transaction. That is dependent on her party makeup and will be one credit per person per "type" (adult/child). (Snack credits do not follow this typing nor the maximum limitation).
