Don't you have to send all the items back??? I don't like to send things back. I did do phonics scholastic because I like the books. I will probably send those back, unless I really like the books. But, I am not thrilled about mailing things back out.

Have you done it yet? Curious. Even though I don't like to return things, I keep seeing it and am tempted....

I've done a few of these. VP's Customer service is very nice to deal with. When you get the CDs you call them & they give you a return number to put on the envelope & you return the CDs. Then, they don't charge you for the product & I believe they refund part of what you paid.

This past time I only had to send back 1 disc, so I sold the other 2 on ebay for a little bit more money.

Mydogisbo-
Question...I should be receiving the CDs any day now...I only have 4 days left on my trial, so I hope I get them soon. My question is...can I use the CDs prior to returning them or do they have to be unopened in order for me to return them?
thanks
Jen

I signed up for this offer last Friday, and I am still waiting for my CDs.

I'm just curious . . .

What kinds of reasons do you give (or plan to give) for canceling a service such as this?

I'm just curious . . .

I signed up last week and rec'd my cd's yesterday. I immediately called the number to cancel since it was pretty close to the end of my trial. Although they said the trial starts from the date the cds are postmarked.

I told them I wanted to cancel because it's too expensive because well it is! She then tried to offer me some deal I don't even know what it was I just told her I wasn't interested.

She then gave me a authorization number to include with the cd (she said I only have to send one back) and I asked about a refund of shipping. She said that has to be requested by the customer so make sure you request it. She said my credit card will be credited for the shipping about 10 days after they get the cds I send back and that I'll get a card in the mail. They need to get my return in 14 days in order for the cancellation to go through. Hopefully the mail won't be slow!

In my experience, the trial was from the date you receive your CDs. I usually tell them it is too expensive or they weren't what I needed. One order I had to return all 3 cds, the others I only had to return 1 (of my choice). I had to open the package to get the number to call. To return them I put them in a manila envelope with the authorization number they gave me written on the outside. So, you do have to pay for the return shipping (but it is minimal, especially with the large reward).

Hope this helps!

How long was this trial? 10 days? I signed up on the 15th & have yet to receive the CDs. I'd like to cancel today so I don't get ding'ed w/the monthly subscription charge, as I'm guessing my day 10 is a Sunday & I doubt they'll be open for my cancellation call.

Any advice on what I should do? Should I just call & cancel & pretend that I got the CDs to get the return postage # so when I do receive them (maybe today?) I can send it back? Or should I just call & tell them I have yet to receive the CDs & I'm afraid of not cancelling in the trial time?

What would you do? How long did it take you to get the CDs?

Call them and tell them that they didn't send the CD's. They will extend the trial. This is one of the easiest offers to deal with and their customer service is top notch. This company has a very good reputation.

I finally did get my CDs last Friday.

Just to clairfy:
You do or don't have to pay for the return shipping??

Thanks

I'm pretty sure you do have to pay for the return shipping. If you write return to sender it will be considered junk mail. The person I talked to told me I only had to return one cd, to put it in a greeting card envelope with one stamp and it would be fine.
