Q: Who has gotten a "Here from Day 1" badge?

I have a Day One badge. I found out about VMK here on the Dis. :) VMK didn't have it's own forum back then, just a really long thread on the community board.
The biggest difference about the game to me, is (of course) the amount of people playing, there was usually only 500 or so people in the game, where as now it's 3000-4000 people on at a time.
My Guest number was 40-something thousand, now we're near if not at, 2 million (mules included! ;) ). VMK sure has grown, both the game itself and here on the Dis. :)

I have my Day 1 badge. Found out about VMK on the Rewards board. Didn't realize how rare some of the early items would be so I didn't buy much in the beginning.

I also found out about VMK here on the DIS Boards! I remember that I could not wait to try it out when it opened. Who knew I would become a VMK addict! ;)

Back then, 500 in the game at one time was alot. The first time I saw 1,000 on I could not believe it! The game really did not handle that many at once very well.

I have mine. I found out about it on the community board. I didn't really get it at first, but I did get a few pieces of furniture. I can't believe its been around so long! I missed the 1st event b/c I was on vacation.

I have the day one badge.
I wish I played more when the game first started to collect more points and the furniture. After I started playing, I didn't get the point of it all, so I gave it up for a while. Oh, All of that lost time!!!!
I started playing a lot until after our trip to WDW in September, and doing the quests there

msbunny on VMK

I have the day one badge. Started playing sometime in May, during beta. Learned about it from a cast member on LaughingPlace site. Since joining the Dis I have so many great friends, thank you all :cool1:

I have my Day One badge.

went to Disneyland with my boyfriend, and they had the vmk booth set up for the first time, and they talked abotu free prizes, so we did the quests and created our characters that day in Inoventions. (Also have my born in the park badge...) It was neat, because it was the first day the booth was out, and I had all kinds of neat prizes that no one else had, including my black ears (which are no longer rare at all!)

I remember getting home from Disneyland around 11pm and being CRUSHED that VMK was closed and I couldn't play until the next day... and the rest is history. :)

I played during the beta and got the day one badge. I heard about it in the weekly e-mail newsletter from AllEarsNet.com that I get. I'm glad I played then because I managed to get some beta things for my tiki room and such.... Wish I had known the items wouldn't be available all the time ... It was awesome in beta though because a lot of the furniture was so much cheaper. I think my tiki fountain was something like 300 or 400 credits as opposed to the 800 it is now...

I have a day 1 badge, i traded my first inferno for it :)

oh ok i read about it on a website, maybe this one :) and tried it out.

I have one..... I think.....maybe well you had to be there for the BETA version i'm pretty sure correct me if i'm wrong

I started playing in May, a day or two after beta started I think. I heard about it on Laughing Place which is/was?? my number one source for Disney info. Nobody from that site really plays VMK that I know of (except Coriander!) so I started hooking up with the friendly DIS people! The rest is history. :)

I dont have one. Lol, But can you trade the badge? Ppl are saying you can.

I have a here from Day 1 badge. I think I have been playing since May 24th. I think I saw something about VMK in the Disney online newsletters many months before. I had forgotten about it for awhile and something reminded me about it in the middle of may. I didn't do much at first, but now looking back I wish I had chosen green flips as my choice of footwear. Oh well.

GirlWithSpunk: No, it is not tradeable. Sorry.
