I am the certified trainer for Electronic Boutiques reclaimations dept. My dept refurbishes video games and systems. I had a new trainee today who didn't seem to keen on working. I had to train her to clean old games. I assigned her to Nintendo64's. I showed her how to clean them, test, then package them. We use q-tips to clean the conductors. The supervisor called me over and told me the new employee was using the q-tips on her ears instead of the games! Sure enough, i looked over, and she had one in her ear!It took me awhile to compose myself, we were laughing so hard. Finally with as straight a face as i could muster, I walked over to her and asked her not to use them in her ears because they were used to clean the games. She said to me "Oh, I wouldn't use a dirty q-tip on my ear, I cleaned my ears first, THEN i cleaned the game with it! "
. As calmly as i could ( hard to do since my boss was listening in on the conversation and was bent over holding his stomach, trying not to lol)). I told her it was unsanitary to sell games to the public that may contain stray ear wax.! If her ears needed cleaning I would allow her to take a clean q-tip to the bathroom where she could clean her ears then dispose of it when she was done!
