Q regarding SSR Room Request..

If I've requested Congress Park at SSR and I say "DTD view"... does that mean (assuming my request was granted, which I know is not guaranteed) that I'll be in front of the quiet pool? Meaning, is right at the quiet pool the only DTD view? For that matter, does a quiet pool view guarantee (for lack of a better word) a DTD view?

If I want a view of DTD AND the pool is that 2 different requests? Doesn't one pretty much determine the other?

I've walked through CP but I don't remember the EXACT makeup & I'm wondering if there are DTD views not near the pool.

My goal is to see BOTH the quiet pool and the DTD view from my balcony.

What's the best way of requesting that specific setup?

All rooms that overlook the pool in Congress Park would have a view of DTD. The buildings sit at an angle, so you probably won't get a full-on view of DTD where you can see from Marketplace to West Side. Some rooms would have part of DTD screened by the building itself.

That said, be aware that by requesting a pool / DTD view you're limiting yourself to about 6% of the resort that will meet your requests. There are only two buildings (of 18) that flank the CP pool, and in those buildings only 50-60% of the rooms face toward DTD and the pool. By making your requests so specific, if the resort is unable to put you in a room that meets those reqests, they won't have much idea of what else you would prefer.

If the resort has more DTD / Congress Park requests than it does rooms available the day you check-in, some will be disappointed.
