Q re buying hoppers online

Has anyone used the Disneyland website to purchase Hoppers? Do you have to use the "print at home" or can you have them deliver the actual hoppers? If you do print them, do you get the real cards when you get there? Is this done at Guest Services or a Ticket counter?

I have nothing bettter to do at work than and make Disney plans.

I'm not going 'til Dec but when I surprise my folks for their anniversary I want to give my parents PROOF that I'm really taking them and I'm not just dreaming up pretend plans

I've done it both ways, printed at home and had them mailed. With either option you have a paper ticket as opposed to the plastic tickets you get with some packages.

With the print at home you just go right to the turnstile, hand them your paper (separate paper for each person) and they'll give you back a ticket. Very quick and easy.

You used to get a coupon for 20% at World of Disney when you print at home. Not sure if they still do that.

The disneyland website is offering $40 off 5 day hoppers if you purchase online. These are for after the April cut-off for the "buy a 3 day hopper and get 5 days" offer. I wonder if you have to print at home to get that discount? Hmmmm

I'll add an additional option:

Purchase the parkhoppers at Vons/Safeway for the same price as pre-purchasing on-line and get a plastic card type hopper. Worked great for us here in AZ.

I have heard you can also buy them at Disney Store (hard plastic type credit cards) but have been told to keep receipts in case the store employee forgets to activate them. These are the same price as online at Disneyland.com

We just arrived in Disneyland today and we ordered hoppers online (5 days for the price of 3) and took the option to pick up at will call. Quick and easy and if you are staying at a Disneyland hotel you have to walk by the will call windows anyway.

We usually order them online and have the hoppers delivered to our house. I like doing it this way, because they always come with a good 20% off coupon to use at DL.

The tickets can be used right away at the park, you don't have to do anything extra with them.

I purchased my 5 day (3 days with 2 days free) from the Disney site a few days before we went. I didn't have time to have them shipped so I chose the print option. Our first day I took the printouts directly to the turnstile entrance where they were scanned and we received our actual tickets. Very easy and we didn't have to stop at will call.

Something about printing the tickets made me nervous but since it is clearly no problem then I'll go that route.
