Shoreside Concierge. They said it was only offered on the Fantasy and limited to just a few people (16 or 18 total)

Since your information comes from Shoreside Concierge, I would just call them and ask for additional information that you can present to us.
IMHO, the chef at Palo will prepare and have delivered to your room a meal, instead of you having to go to Palo.

I was curious so I email shoreside concierge. This is what they said;

"Palo "Be Our Chef" must be booked once onboard on embarkation day. The first sailing that we are able to book this experience for prior to sailing is December 3rd.

Palo "Be Our Chef" is offered during your day in Tortola at 10:00am and has a maximum allotment of eight (8) Guests. During this experience you will learn from one of Palo's Chefs how to create four of Palo's dishes and receive some keepsake gifts as well.

If you are interested in this experience, please let your onboard team know on embarkation day so they may assist with booking this for you. The cost is $279.00 per a person and it cannot be canceled once booked."

And it matches exactly what pp gave. Scott's a great resource, but in this case, it's not like he is giving more than we already had.

I finally got an answer from the shoreside concierge team. PP are correct.

An additional item: They asked us which size Chef Jacket we needed (S, M, L, XL). They needed to know which of us need which size. (So maybe you get a chef jacket also???)

We are sailing Dec 3. When I found out the price, I let them know we were no longer interested.

Nice, DCL providing even more "options" for their customers. LOL

It sounds like they are doing it as if it was an excursion. Sort of an on-board excursion for those that aren't interested in getting off the boat. Seems there are some people who aren't interested in the port excursions, so this is another option.

I've done my check-in and couldn't find anything about the Palo "Be Our Chef".

Can't wait to read reviews about this.
