Q: Golf Cart Early December

We don't stay at the Fort yet, but we love the place and are eagerly making plans to stay in Winter of 2010.

This question is about Dec 2008 --
We have friends from the UK who will be joining us for a visit to WDW the first week of December. We'd like to rent a golf cart over at the Fort and view the decorations one afternoon/evening. We're concerned about the availability of carts..

Any suggestions? Can we reserve early? Even if we're staying at a moderate resort and not FW? When should we reserve?

Make sure to bring some beer -- looping with beer is a real treat -- you can also use it to feed the otters. They really like that.
