There will be 5 of us (DH, me, DMIL, DS2, DS2). DMIL will be sleeping on the sofabed, and we'll take the bed. Yeah, it's a tight fit, but we a snuggly family! :-)

Will I be able to fit two toddler Ready Beds on the floor when the sofabed opend up? The boys are just under 3 and I would prefer that they sleep in their own "beds" rather than sharing a bed with us. I'd hate to go through the fight when we get home about why they can't sleep in our bed every night.

Thanks!!!

In a studio I think it's going to be really tight unless you want to put them over between the kitchenette area and the bathroom.

Two squirmers and two adults in a queen bed sounds a lot tighter than I'd want, I'd try to squeeze the little beds in.

The rooms at OKW are larger, and you might want to think about staying there instead. It could give you a bit more space to work with, and that "bit" could make a lot of difference.

I agree it might be tight. The BWV studios are 412 sq. ft.

Here is a link to the page that has the room layout: http://dvc.disney.go.com/dvc/guest/resorts/resortDetail?id=ProspectsBoardwalkVillasResortAccommodationsPage.

I was under the impression that OKW has bigger rooms too, however when I look at the DVC Site here:

It says the studios are only 390 Sq Ft. But the layout is different... The one bedrooms however DO have a little more sq. footage.

Hth.

I guess I was going by the layout. The OKW studios seem to have the area by the windows that's out of the way enough that you won't be possibly tripping over the kids at night to get to the bathroom. Although they technically are smaller, they feel roomier.

Thanks for the replies. Can you move any of the furniture? The floorplan link was very helpful. If we could move the bed a little this way and the sofabed a little that way, might it work?

I agree with the PPs that it'll be a pretty snug fit in a studio for you all. As far as moving furniture - I believe you'll be able to "scooch" the sofa-bed down a bit but that the bed is not moveable (I may be wrong, but that's what I'm remembering). We stayed at Saratoga in a studio when DS was smaller and rented a full-size crib. We moved the table and chairs closer to the armoir and put the crib on that side opposite the sofa. I wonder if you could line your boys up there (like at the foot of the sofa bed when its pulled out). The other thing to keep in mind is that there is a coffee table that sits in front of the sofa, that will need to go somewhere when you open up the sofa bed.

I agree again with the PPs that a studio at OKW might be a better fit for you guys (or a 1 BR would give you a ton more space if you can swing it!)

Cheers!

There's really only about a foot between each of those and the wall, so no place to really move them to and still have the housekeeper be able to make the beds.

Is there any way you could change the reservation and stay at the Polynesian, GF or Contemporary instead? Those rooms are significantly roomier.

Actually, I think there is plenty of floor space for two ready beds....one by the front door, and one by the bathroom vanity area....
