I read in the meal voucher post that someone using Quick and Casual vouchers had been limited to the cheapest desserts and smallest-sized drinks with the Q & C vouchers. I based my voucher purchases on what we would normally order and my family does not necessarily care for the things offered as the smallest desserts. Anyone else had this experience or care to comment? Thanks.

I have used them many times and never had any drink or dessert restrictions except: At Beaches and Cream, the first time we visited our CM told us we could get a milkshake for drink and also get a dessert; the second time the CM told us if we got a milkshake it would count as dessert because it was ice cream. You sometimes see CM interpret things differntly. We still thin they are great and have 8 more for our next trip 12/25-12/31/04.

That has never happened with our experience with Q&C vouchers. There are five of us (children 8, 5, and 1). We would use 2 vouchers and split the meals. We always ordered the largest drink and shared it between 2 people and the largest dessert to split. (FYI: We used the vouchers for double cheeseburger meals and asked for extra buns. We were NEVER even charged for the bun. Then we would take one hamburger patty off the double cheeseburger and put it on the extra bun. It worked great-especially with the fixins' bar!) :D

We just got back, last month, and used them at Beaches n Cream and Pepper Market at Coronado Springs.

We were also told, at Beaches n Cream, that if we ordered milk shakes as our beverage it would count as our dessert. On our trip this past June, we could order the shakes as our beverage, plus dessert.

At the Pepper Market, we got the Rib Eye steaks, potato, vegetables, soda and dessert (anything from the dessert station or ice cream). The steak combo alone, cost $18.95!

At Beaches n Cream, we shared a voucher and ordered a Double Cheeseburger, onion rings, two sodas and the No Way Jose sundae. I had to pay for the extra soda. We didn't get an extra bun, they cut the sandwich in half for us and brought it out on two plates.

I used them in January, April, and July without a problem at all. We were never limited as to what dessert we could get.

Once in the Tusker House a CM did not want to give me a large drink. I showed him the voucher and that nowhere did it say only a small drink. He mumbled something about not supposed to do this - like it is coming out of his pocket - and I got the large drink.

Next time in Tusker House I had no problems.

We have used these vouchers for a couple of years and never had any problem at all. :cool1:

Ago, with NO problem. Just ordered 2 more for my Dec. trip! :D

We found the best place to order them is from Hotwire. We used them in Dec. Tusker house gave us a small drink but everywhere else gave us a large. Japan gave us a side, even though the entre comes with a side of rice. Japan was a good savings, as was Morocco. We liked having them because with the vouchers we tried more things. We wouldn't have ordered dessert, or extra sides without them. The kids thought it was great that we were getting dessert everywhere we went.

After hearing so much about them, I ordered 6 of them for our May trip from Hotwire. Can't wait to try them. We usually share our lunches anyway, so these will be a plus. :flower1:

I would get them as soon as possible. With the new packages with the dinning option comming out on 1/2, there are rumors that after the currently batch with the 5/31/05 expiration date on them are gone, no more will be released. However to make sure, I would call whomever at Disney who would deal with this on Sunday and find out for sure.
