Have really appreciated people listing the names of the places and what they've ordered to save $$ using Quick and Casual lunch vouchers.

We never order sodas or desserts (and wouldn't be worth it for us to get these free). We want the cost savings just for the main stuff, but f igure Disney is pretty smart about how they've priced these vouchers.

Anybody find that a Quick & Casual voucher saved them money over just main dish?? If so, where and what'd you get. We are traveling 2 adults and 2 7-year olds (who are perfectly happy eating PB&J, so it's more for the adults).

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't think they are worth it for our family because we never order a drink or dessert either. We just got back and ate lunch and dinner every day in the parks. That wasn't the plan. We were going to have a few nice dinners at the resorts but nobody wanted to stop for those. We each had an entree and always substituted fruit or carrots for the fries. We had our own bottled water. The entrees were only $5 - $8 depending on where we ate. That wouldn't cover the $11 - $12 cost of the vouchers.

If you don't order desert and drink anyway, you won't be saving any $. We like an occasional desert so we use a few each trip.

Thanks, LisaR & Ceecee! Guess we'll pass on these. One less thing to plan for -- although I am having fun planning this trip.

Now on to planning where we'll get the best prices on 4-day park hoppers.::yes::

One thing you might consider is that if they have desserts that will last, i.e. cake, brownies, etc. get it to go. We will be using Q&C vouchers at the Pepper Market when we go in November, and if my kids don't think they can eat the desserts (yeah, right):), i'll remind them that if they get something that will last, they can eat it later in the room. Of course ice cream won't work.....;)

PolyHereWeCome, you are right to pass on these if you don't want the drink or dessert. They do save you money (only a buck or two) over purchasing a meal, drink and dessert separately. Our family always purchases a drink with a meal, but not dessert too often, so if we use Q&C vouchers we will typically use one for the three of us and we will share the dessert. We do the same with the Vacation Kingdom vouchers, sharing the appetizer and dessert amoungst the three of us. Otherwise, is is just way too much food!

I don't order pop or dessert at Beaches and Cream and still save money. I just order the burger with onion rings and a chocolate shake. With taxes and tip, it would still cost me about $15 in cash.

At Tangierine Cafe in Epcot, the Shawarma platter alone is nearly $10. I grab some baklava to take with me latter or to eat for breakfast in the morning. I carry a small plastic container in my backpack for this purpose. Ice Tea or fruit juice is a nice drink option. I get so tired of drinking water all the time. Sometimes they let me order their frozen tangerine fruit drink. I pay about $17 for this meal without a voucher.

The Q&Cs would also save you money at CSR's Pepper Market even without the dessert and drink. A ribeye steak entree there is about $17 or $18 I think.

As an aside, I only order the vouchers for B&C. That is the only place in WDW that I usually get dessert with my food.
