We are going to DLR July 1st - 3rd. We like to hit Disneyland first thing in the morning and then move over to DCA in the late morning (11 am or so) for a few hours before we hit the pool for the afternoon.

We all want to ride TSMM, so I am wondering what the lines will be like if we stick to our regular schedule. What if we try riding in the late late afternoon, early evening? Or do we need to get there for rope drop?

What do you guys think? What should we plan?

Thanks in advance,
Michele

To have a somewhat short wait for TSMM I'm guessing that you have to hop no later than 9:30. My guess is that if you hopped at 11, the line would already be 2 hours long at least. Lines might die down in the evening, but it would still probably be an hour long wait at the least.

The best bet is to get there 30-60 minutes before rope drop and then just wait and rush to the ride when it opens at 10. Or if you don't mind waiting, but don't want to waste your park touring time, try it at DCA's closing. Hop in the line right as the park is about to close. You'll still wait a while, but there's nothing else (in DCA) you could be doing at that moment because the park will have closed.
