Q about purchasing Universal Dining Plan (QS)

My mother and I will be going to Universal Orlando July 4th week. I'm a planner and have already calculated that the Quick Service Dining Plan will save us a little each of the 3 days we're planning to be in the parks based on what we want to eat and where.

However, I have a question about ordering. When I go to buy the tickets it only gives me the option to select the number of adults, not the number of days, for the dining plan.

We are 2 adults (no kids) and will spend 3 days in the parks. Do I select 6 adults for the dining plan? Or, do I purchase just for the first day and buy the other two days at the parks?

That website is very weird. It has number of days for the dining events that don't require it but not for the events that don't.

You don't need to purchase in advance. The dining play can be purchased at any cash register at quick service restaurants at the parks.

I found puchasing right from the cashier helped me ask questions and understand it better. I would just hold off and buy at the point of purchase
