Q about ADRs for DVCers

SO I was reading (elsewhere ) and something said sparked my concern. Can we make ADRs both online and via phone the regular way as we would have if we were regular WDW resort guests? What concerned me is that the system might not rocgnisze my conf. number for the DVC ressie and not allow me to do my 180 + 10 at oh-dark-thrity in the morning and then I'd have to get on the phone which by that time the ADRs I know are hot will be gone.
I'm sure this has been posted before so I beg forgiveness. It just never occured to me that it might be different so I never thought to read anything more about it and my widow is opening in 1 day so time is short to get prepared.

I did it last year for early December with no problem. You have to go to the first restaurant you want, then on the screen where you put the date you want there is a link to enter your reservation #. That will open up the +10.

Argh! I wonder if it's a Mac issue again? I've tried on Firefox (worked last year but it was an online booked reservation ad not DVC) and Safari and neither are working. I guess I'll have to call an hour behind everyone else booking online. Dang it!

It worked on my Mac.

I was able to make all my ADRs at 180 days out for our upcoming July DVC trip.

I found out why when I called this AM. My conf # on my DVC letterhead that was mailed to me was different than they had in their system. Why would that happen? Thankfully I still got everything I wanted when I wanted so I lucked out but that is bizarre.
