Pygmy puffs sold out

Ever since reading the book I've wanted a purple Pygmy Puff. Gosh, Universal saw me coming; I'll be broke after touring Hogsmeade!

I wish it was like Disney in that you can have your purchases sent back to your hotel... or if you stay club level at Disney, you can have your purchases waiting for you on your bed when you return! That was wonderful!
I'll probably wait to purchase stuff last, as I don't relish lugging a bunch of stuff with me!

They do. Just ask at the counter and they will deliver to on-site hotels.

Deliveries to hotels are collected at the end of the day (park close) and delivered by 11 AM the next morning. Some may arrive as early as 8 AM the next day but it is next day delivery. I asked on Sunday because it was our last day in the park and I wanted to purchase a case of pumpkin juice. Sooo did NOT want to carry that around the park ha! Also, candy and food items will not be delivered to the room or the front of the park. We ended up dividing 13 bottles of pumpkin juice into two bags (double bagged) and walked them to the lockers at the front of the park. On our way back to the HRH we opted for the rikshaw bikes as our total merchandise that day was just far too heavy to walk it all back to the hotel. The rikshaw bikes operate on a tip basis and not a set price.

Pigmy Puffs are adorable and much larger than we anticipated but my girls just had to have them. They were $14.95 on Thursday and Friday (17th and 18th).

I just asked one of the employees yesterday, June 24th, when they expect these to be back in stock. She mentioned that she had called on June 23rd to check the status. She said it wouldn't be until August.

What is the cost of those ugly things? My dd's will probably love them. I should prepare myself now.

I said the same thing to myself when I saw the picture and then saw your post. I know my 6 yr old would love one and she doesn't even like HP.

Does anyone know if they got them back in stock? When I was there last week the employees said they think they would be getting them soon.

My daughter wants one too and she named hers bubble gum... but I'm going in Oct. so they should have some by then (unless they get sold out again)
Do they do a naming ceremony each time they actually sell one? Those poor guys must have been worn out by the end of the day... one more Pygmy Puff... "ding" being adopted...
