PVD Airport parking?

Does anyone have any info on non-airport operated parking for the Providence RI airport?

I always used to park at Red Beam Garage, and used to be able to get a coupon, but for this trip, when I try their website, I find it doesn't exist anymore (the website).

Can anyone whose been through PVD recently tell me if Red Beam Garage is still being used by Red Beam (I did read an article that mentioned it may be purchased by the PVD airport as part of their expansion).

Also, I'd be interested to hear about other people's experiences with any of the Valet parking services for the PVD airports - I actually can't find much info about those services at PVD except for the official airport offerings, which are too expensive.

When we were planning to fly out of PVD, I did an IE search and just typed in providence airport parking and a large list came up, some with coupons.
For example : http://www.allairportparking.com/

I find doing an internet search much faster than waiting for replies on the boards.

I actually had done a web search, and the sites you mention all point to only two different parking places:

Post Road Airport Valet Parking
PreFlight Airport Parking

So I was hoping to find out if there are others, and/or if anyone has had any experience with any of them.

What I REALLY want to do is park at Red Beam - I hope it's still there and still operating as non-airport managed parking.

Jill, just as an aside, have you considered Bradly to leave from?
You are sort of in the middle in Auburn. LOTS of parking to choose from at Bradley.

I did a search and here you go. Notice the red beam on the garage. According to the search it is still called the Red Beam and it is at PVD. Hope this helps. http://www.neparking.com/

Thanks Gail - we always fly from where ever we can get the best price for non-stop flights. This time it's PVD, but in May we flew out of Bradley.

In Auburn, we're lucky that it's about the same amount of time to get to any of Boston, Bradley (Hartford), or Green (Providence) airports, so we do end up with lots of options.

This time it just worked out to be PVD, and we're taking friends, so I'm trying to get everything taken care of ahead of time (and trying to let them know what things will cost).

I really liked the Red Beam garage in PVD, even though it was getting more expensive (when it first opened, it was really cheap!).

My husband and I always use PreFlight Parking. They are so wonderful. They usually have a 20% off coupon on their website. I know the one on now expires Sept. 30th, but they will post one again for later in the year. We will use them for our Oct. trip

I'll check in sundays paper, theres one that advertises parking for peanuts and theres always a coupon for 20% off. It comes to about 55$ for the week and its right across from the airport. Actually is within walking distance as its not a huge airport.

Have either of you ever seen coupons for the Red Beam garage? We always fly out of PVD and usually park in long term. Tried Red Beam last time and thought it was great not having to wait for the tram.

By the way Jill, we used to live in Auburn. Moved to Lincoln about 6 yrs ago.

No, unfortunately not. I live in CT, so, I don't read the RI papers and I never really search the web for coupons for PVD as I generally fly out of Hartford.

We have used the long term parking lot at the Thrifty Rent A Car just down the street from the airport. You drop your car off and they put it in a locked area while you are gone. They put your luggage in a shuttle bus and bring you to the airport (about a 4 min ride). When you return, just call them from the airport phone and they will be right down to get you.
