PVB Studio Availability in Early May?

I'm planning a week long trip in May of 2023 for myself, wife and two kids ages 5&2 and definitely want to rent a studio at the Polynesian. I'm wondering how feasible availability is at the 11 month and 7 month marks if I'm able to find points to rent through the boards here?

Scanning the rental board on occasion I've seen loads of owners for other properties but seldom a Polynesian owner renting points. Would it be wise to go through more of the sure fire route of a broker or is it likely there will be points to be had if I keep my eyes peeled?

I don't know why, but Poly points are hot on the rental market. Finding an owner is allegedly quite hard even with the brokers. In terms of availability at that time, 11mos is a sure thing more or less. 7mos should be okay, too, especially if you're flexible with view category.

That is something that likely will be available at 7 months but of course booking in the 11 month window is the best guarantee. I've seen Poly points so I think you'll find someone posting. A broker also has to wait for a Poly owner to want to rent and then might have others in front of you waiting.

I certainly wouldn't call a broker a sure fire wy to find Poly points. The two major brokers are constantly begging for Poly owners.

Interesting, didn't know there was such demand with the brokers to find Poly owners. A former CM friend of mine invited me to a FB group as well, so hopefully between here and there I have an opportunity to get the points I'll need

I was able to book 2 Poly studios for a week in mid-May at the 7 month mark this year. I could have waited a few more weeks to book it too as availability remained open.

I don’t know about May but I was able to get two weeks at the Poly in a standard view studio at the 7 month mark during March break. I’ve heard they have a lot of studios so just need to stalk availability!

Oh I totally missed that somehow. Even though now I go back and read properly and renting is all over the write up. Oops!
